I’m a Los Angeles native living in Berlin. While I specialize in game and app design, my work covers UX, UI, product strategy, prototyping, wire-framing, system specification, supplier management, and both front and back-end web development.
Most recently, I worked as a Creative Director and Strategic Project Manager for Take7 Music , where I owned product strategy and worked with musicians and users to design the app from the ground up. Before moving to Berlin, I spent 8 years working in Shanghai, China for Virtuos Games (我会说一点中文), one of China’s leading video game outsourcing companies. There, I co-managed and directed a team of 20 designers and worked with developers and clients from around the world. Before my time in China, I spent 6 years as a System and Level Designer at Heavy Iron Studios in California where I designed games for Pixar. I was also an associate games producer and games tester at Heavy Iron’s parent company, THQ .
When I’m not making stuff, you can find me learning to code at Treehouse, brushing up on my maths at Khan Academy, and learning new languages on DuoLingo. I’m addicted to learning (it’s what I do!), and I’m passionate about what technology can bring education.
